Are there any other platforms like this?

Not until now that we know of. The new Diver's Platform has been in development for just under a year with 3 models being used as demo's and more designs on the way.

When can we get them and where?

We will be selling online soon, or you can look to see if there is a dealer near you. See Dealer and phone number list here. Divers platforms will be ready for shipment by mid July 2007

What will the price be?

The prices will vary depending on the model you purchase. The range will be from $295.00 to $450.00 for the standard models.

What will be included with a Diver's Platform?

You will recieve a complete float ready to use plus a flag and a flag pole

Where will we go if we have a product failure?

You will send your Diver's Platform back to Competitive Development & Manufacturing Inc, for full 100% warranty. See warranty info.

Do you have any other items in development?

Yes, we are working on a Hi-Tec version of all the current models. We are also working on a high tech aluminum auger with a quick attachment point for the anchor rope. This will allow the instructor and or divemaster to set the float quickly and easily. In addition we're designing some multi platform systems that will allow divers a heavy duty light weight lifting platform for under water recovery.

Who designed the Diver's Platform?

A guy named Harry Wood - he is currently a Divemaster working on his Instructors rating. He is also the owner of Competitive Development & Manufacturing, Inc. They have been in the production manufacturing business for over 30 years. They currently manufacture products for the medical, aerospace, and commercial industries. They specialize in manufacturing design and prototyping.

Who has tested the Diver's Platform?

The Diver's Platform is a collaboration of instructors- assistant instructors - and divemasters and students from Bubbles Below and Smokey Point Dive shop. All friends of Harry Wood
